At Deerpark Montessori, every child’s wellbeing and development are at the heart of what we do. We honour each child as a unique individual, guiding them with kindness, understanding, and respect. Our environment encourages independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning—where curiosity and compassion naturally thrive.
Deerpark Montessori is lovingly led by Margarita Campos, a fully qualified and passionate early years educator. Margarita holds a Level 7 BA Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education, along with a Level 6 Diploma in Montessori Education. Her joyful and encouraging approach creates a learning environment where children truly flourish.
She is joined by Lili Saib, an experienced and caring teacher, qualified in Early Childhood Education from the Lycée Français in Paris. Lili holds a Level 8 degree and a Level 6 qualification in Montessori Education. Her gentle, attentive manner and rich background in bilingual and Montessori education bring something truly special to our classroom.
Together, Margarita and Lili share a deep love for working with young children, supporting their development with warmth, respect, and joyful curiosity every day. They are joined by other fully qualified and dedicated early years professionals, who work alongside them to create a caring, enriching, and inspiring Montessori environment. Each member of the team brings valuable experience, genuine passion, and the skills needed to guide and support every child’s unique journey.
The school adheres to the principles of Siolta, the national quality framework for early childhood education, and Aistear, the early childhood curriculum framework.
How we teach
We teach children through the Montessori Method of education, which follows a preschool curriculum and is completely child-led, allowing the child freedom of choice within the classroom.
Children make their own choices regarding their own work and play, have freedom to choose their own activities each day freely, unrestricted and safely under the supervision of Margarita, Lili, and the team.
Our aim is to encourage each child attending Deerpark Montessori School to come to school every day into a welcoming, homely, safe and caring atmosphere, where each child is listened to and respected in a manner to which every child deserves.
Managing behaviour
At Deerpark Montessori, we take a positive and respectful approach to supporting children in learning to manage their own behaviour.
We create daily opportunities for children to develop their social and emotional skills—such as taking turns, using kind words, and learning to share—through gentle guidance, modelling, and meaningful play.
Clear and consistent boundaries are introduced in age-appropriate ways, often through games and group activities, helping children understand what is expected and how to care for others in the community.
When challenges arise, we address them calmly and constructively, helping the child reflect on their actions and understand how to make better choices next time. Every situation is seen as a learning moment, with the goal of nurturing empathy, cooperation, and self-regulation
Our open door policy
At Deerpark Montessori, we deeply value the partnership we share with families. Our open-door policy means that parents are always welcome — whether it’s to ask a question, share a thought, or simply pop in and say hello. We believe strong communication and mutual trust are key to supporting each child’s journey.
We are proud of the care, education, and attention we provide every day, and we welcome families to take an active interest in our work. If you’d like to learn more about how we operate, including our inspection history, our most recent Tusla inspection report is available to view at any time.
Your child’s wellbeing, growth and happiness are at the heart of everything we do — and we’re always here to talk.
